During these sessions, a pastor will lead you on a journey to help you identify where you are spiritually and learn about the history of A.M.E, our beliefs, and give you the tools to find places to share your gifts through our Ministries.

To make a public declaration of your faith and obedience to God, simply call the church and inquire about participating in a baptism ceremony.

Ministries

At Little Rock A.M.E Zion Church, we aren’t just a congregation; we are a family dedicated to doing life together in the spirit of Christ. Our passion is to create a community where every generation—from our youngest children to our seasoned seniors—can belong to a Christ-centered group. Explore our Ministry Opportunities below to find your place in our shared journey of faith.

To encourage our youth to take an active role in the Sunday Morning Worship by training them to light, tend, and extinguish the altar flame; which is symbolic of the presence of God in our midst. You must be at least 8 years of age to participate.

To provide a comprehensive ministry that reaches Senior Adults in Little Rock enhancing their lives by encouraging them to grow in the Lord, and Challenge them to serve the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.
To enhance Spiritual Development and Christian Discipline through team and individual sports, focusing on sportsmanship, dedication, teamwork and discipline. Inclusive of all ages.

To enhance the worship experience through amplification of the music and the preached word, to record and make available audio tapes, CDs, and livestreams for all services.

To inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism and service that they may become happy resourceful citizens.
To provide ongoing resources and information on health, safety and other related issues and to provide on site medical care when needed.
To provide clothing, school supplies and other essential items to families, children, and those in need in the Charlotte area.
To collect information and articles for historical purposes.
To provide added support and comfort to the pastor and family.
To pray with and offer support to new member desiring to be saved.
To provide ministry to those who are incarcerated, formerly incarcerated and their families.
To lead an inspire the congregation in worship services through the rendering of diverse form of sacred music, bringing glory to God and winning souls for His Kingdom. In addition, the choir provides musical enrichment to all functions and events in the life of the church, as requested.
